Educational visits form an integral part of our curriculum at Mousehold
At Mousehold, we believe in extending learning beyond the classroom and fully utilising our local resources. We are convinced that educational visits play a significant role in children’s personal, social, and physical development, in addition to offering curricular benefits.
When organising educational visits, we carefully plan with all our children’s needs in mind and are committed to providing an inclusive experience. We recognise the value of such visits for every child and collaborate with parents to ensure opportunities for all.
Our educational visits are intricately woven into our curriculum, supporting our children’s learning. Some of our excursions include Mousehold Heath Forest Schools, the Sainsbury’s Centre, Norwich Cathedral, Norwich Castle, Pensthrope, BeWILDerwood Hall, Gressenham Hall, and many more. We also have opportunities to visit and explore our partner school, George White Junior. We remain dedicated to working with parents to guarantee opportunities for every child.
Extra Curricular Activities
At Mousehold Infant and Nursery, we provide an educational experience that extends beyond the classroom through a diverse range of after-school clubs. These clubs support every child’s personal development, promoting spiritual, moral, social, and cultural growth. They align with our core values of Respect, Help, Learn, Enjoy and Achieve while fostering citizenship, modern British values, and character development.
Our clubs offer opportunities for children to explore new interests, develop skills, and excel in their strengths. Each year, we introduce new clubs to ensure a stimulating and evolving range of activities that meet our pupils’ changing needs and interests. We encourage every pupil to try various clubs, as they may lead to life-long hobbies and passions.
