Progression Maps
Every teacher is also a Subject Leader. Subject Leaders, along with teachers, are responsible for planning the learning from Nursery to Year 2. The progression maps show the sequence of learning from Nursery to Year and cover knowledge and skills. Teachers know what prior learning has taken place and what learning is taking place after their lesson. This helps each lesson be purposeful and well sequenced.
The children at our school follow the 2014 National Curriculum, although our exciting programme of learning is not limited by it. The curriculum is enriched with many exciting opportunities for diverse learning.
