Newsletter 1st July 2024

Dear Parents and Carers,

We would like to thank everyone who supported the Summer Fayre in any way at all.

It was lovely to see everyone joining in and having fun. Thank you to the Friends for organising it and to everyone who supported it. We hope you all had a great time! All proceeds raised will go towards purchasing play equipment and subsidising school trips for your children.

Friends Association

Thank You to Our Amazing PTA Members!

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to some special members of our PTA charity group, ‘The Friends of Mousehold,’ who have given so much to our school. Firstly, a huge THANK YOU to Lise Loud, Isabelle Culot, Kate Wood, and Sara Winser. These wonderful ladies are stepping down as their children are finishing their time at Mousehold. Your dedication and hard work have made a lasting impact. Thank you for everything!

A special thank you also goes to Mrs. Neale, who’s stepping down as treasurer. She does an outstanding job, contributing way more than just balancing the books! We’re excited that you’re staying with the group, and we can’t wait to keep working with you.

As we say goodbye to these fantastic folks, we’re looking for new volunteers to join ‘The Friends of Mousehold.’ If you love supporting our school, we’d love to have you! Volunteering with the PTA is a great way to:

Meet New People: Connect with other parents and make new friends.

Make a Difference: Help enhance the school experience for all our kids.

Learn New Skills: Get experience in event planning, fundraising, and more.

Have Fun: Enjoy the satisfaction of working together for a great cause.

If you’re interested in joining or want more info, please reach out to us at admin@thefriendsofmousehold.org. We appreciate any time or support you can offer!

Once again, thank you to Lise, Isabelle, Kate, Sara, and Mrs. Neale for all your amazing contributions. Let’s keep the community spirit alive and continue their great work.

Safeguarding   – in case you missed this last week – support for Domestic Abuse victims.

We are highlighting a service for Norfolk that launched this year:

Domestic abuse, the variety of forms it can take and the devastating impacts it has on survivors are not always physical. Research shows that incidents of domestic abuse increased during the recent COVID lockdowns. Children are considered to have been victims by witnessing incidents.

If you would like to talk to a safeguarding lead or another member of staff if something is worrying you please ask and we will find the right person to talk to you immediately.
