Newsletter 15th December 2023

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for supporting the Christmas performances. The children were fantastic and you should be very proud of them.

I am extremely proud of the whole school community for such a great team effort this term.

We are looking forward to the start of Spring Term 2024 but also looking forward to our Christmas holidays. A chance for us all to rest and recharge.

Thank you to the staff for always going the extra mile. They really are amazing!

Last day of term Wednesday 20th December – non- uniform just for fun.

On the last day of term children can wear non-uniform and/or Christmas themed clothes – just for fun.

Friends of Mousehold – Christmas Raffle

Thank you to our Friends of School who have done an excellent job in raising money for all of the children. The raffle raised £452! Thank you to the parents who sold tickets, in all weathers. We appreciate it. And thank you to the families who bought tickets.

Sugar for Shelters Collection

Many thanks for the generous donations. We collected 41 bags of sugar and this will help so many people who are struggling at this time of the year.

Attendance at Mousehold Infant and Nursery School

We have a celebration assembly each Friday afternoon where we share children’s achievements with everyone. As part of this assembly, we congratulate the class with the highest overall attendance for that week. The class with the highest attendance in Key Stage 1 receives ‘Top Dog’ to take to their classroom for the week. The class with the highest attendance in Reception receives ‘Top Cat’.

Our whole school attendance target is 96%. Current whole school attendance is 94.7%.

Top Dog – this week the highest attendance for Key Stage 1 goes to Raven class with 99.23%.

Top Cat – this week the highest attendance for Reception goes to Goldfinch class with 97.27%.
